Yuyi Chen

Summer 2025 | Poetry

a goose after

noon sleeps his

parents steady

inevitable 6 pm:

under the right

light he looks

fine and not

withering

victoria’s secret

knifes moon

midair fire

celebrates

winter syllabi

in heat

some dinners

ceased yet

new year begins

a massacre

mine? mine

on the way

here still

serpenting a

geese afternoon
