Douglas Culhane is an artist and writer who works in drawing, sculpture, poetry, and hybrid forms. hIs work often combines word and image
He has been the recipient of grants, fellowships and residencies from organizations including: the New York Foundation for the Arts, MacDowell, the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, Yaddo, and The Edward Albee Foundation.
He currently teaches in the Department of Art and the History of Art at Amherst College.
He lives in Churchtown, NY.
