The Self Esteem
Workout

For example the fat woman in a happy bikini with flowers catches a pretty fish, throws it back it goes on living.

Elsewhere the woman with a cigarette in one hand & a glass
of OJ in the other unconsciously adopts her reputation.

Likewise the woman in a love story from the 90’s has no
idea what violence means but it gives her a thrill. It fills her
with wonder.

Granted the woman who knows how to be a good victim
could overlook the fact she deserves a better fate—

Furthermore the woman with the body men want to see
should not be flawless but should be able to bear
the burden of her flaws—

Either way the woman who is 83% happy, 9% disgusted,
6% fearful, & 2% angry gets up from the breakfast table, that woman.

Meanwhile the pretty girl running from history is on a blind
date. A fish sings above the roses on her plate.

Whereas the woman fucking in the grass is a practical
woman & arranges for her disappearance, on several levels.

On the other hand the woman accustomed to behaving
as if something were true even if it wasn’t climbs
through the window of her soul because she could not
find a door.

Incidentally or accidentally the woman who would rather be right than happy is asking of herself the same thing she’s
asking of her garden.

Regardless the woman in the red dress, gossiping is
addressing the wrong person. This can often happen in the case of urgent emotional messages.

At any rate the thin confident woman who smells
of being on film walks across the park. There is a fantastic
feeling of spring in the air—
